# Prompt Library ## Prompt Library **Skill level:** Beginner Copy a prompt, replace the parts in `[BRACKETS]`, and send it to your assistant. Each prompt names the Consultiz files involved, so it works in AI editors and, with the file pasted in, in chat assistants too. ### Get Started **Explain the project to the assistant** ```text Read AGENTS.md, README.md, and docs/section-ownership.md, then look at src/config/config.toml, src/pages/[...lang]/index.astro, and src/content/homepage/english/-index.md. Summarize in 10 bullet points how this Astro theme is organized: where text lives, how pages pick their sections, how a page overrides a section (named blocks), and which values are demo data. Don't change any files yet. ``` **Describe your firm once, then reuse it** ```text Here is my firm. Use it for every copywriting request in this conversation: - Name: [FIRM NAME] - What we do: [ONE SENTENCE] - Clients: [WHO YOU WORK WITH] - Main services: [3 TO 6 SERVICES] - Offices: [CITIES] - Tone: clear, professional, no hype words. Confirm with one line, and don't change any files yet. ``` ### Brand **Rename the site** ```text Change the brand from "Consultiz" to "[NAME]". In src/config/config.toml update [site] title, logoText, and description, and [seo] author. Update common.tagline and footer.copyright in src/i18n/en.json and fr.json. Then search src/content and src/i18n for any remaining "Consultiz" in visible text and replace it. Don't rename files or code identifiers. ``` **Apply brand colors** ```text My brand color is [HEX] and my accent color is [HEX]. In src/styles/theme.css, update --color-primary and --color-accent in the @theme block, and suggest matching values for --color-theme-dark and --color-theme-cream. Keep text contrast at 4.5:1 or more. Then list the places that hard-code #193133 (search the project) so I can decide whether to change them. ``` **Change the fonts** ```text Replace the heading font Space Grotesk with [GOOGLE FONT] in src/config/fonts.json. Keep its cssVariable "--font-secondary", the weights, and the fallback. Don't edit CSS files. ``` ### Contact Details And Demo Data **Replace the demo contact details** ```text Replace every demo contact detail with mine: phone [PHONE], email [EMAIL], address [ADDRESS], hours [HOURS], offices [LIST]. Update [settings.contactInfo], [settings.headerTopBar], and [settings.officeDropdown] in src/config/config.toml, src/content/sections/*/home-header.md, src/content/contact/*/-index.md, src/content/sections/*/contact-image-form.md, and the legalPage.contact box of the legal pages. Then search for "example.com" and "+44-800" and list anything left. Do English and French. ``` **List the demo values before launch** ```text Read PUBLIC-VALUES-NEEDED.md and check the project for every demo value it lists, plus: an empty [site] baseUrl, an empty contactFormAction, empty or "#" newsletter formAction values, disabled social links in src/config/social.json, sample ratings, client logos, awards, testimonials, statistics, people, and job roles. Don't change files: give me a checklist with the file and line of each item. ``` ### Homepage And Sections **Rewrite the homepage for my firm** ```text Rewrite the English text of the main homepage for my firm. The route is src/pages/[...lang]/index.astro. Edit the section files it uses in src/content/sections/english/ and the named blocks in src/content/homepage/english/-index.md. Keep every key, option, icon name, and the number of items in each list. Only change text values, and keep sample statistics, ratings, and testimonials as they are unless I give you real ones. Then write the French version. ``` **Make another homepage the main one** ```text I want the [corporate consulting | tax and accounting] homepage as my main homepage. Copy src/pages/[...lang]/[corporate-consulting | tax-accounting].astro over src/pages/[...lang]/index.astro, then delete the copied route and the src/pages/[...lang]/landing/ routes I no longer need. Update the "Home" menu in src/config/menu.en.json and menu.fr.json, and run npm run astro-check. ``` **Hide or change a section on one page** ```text On [PAGE URL], [hide the newsletter | change the FAQ title to "..."]. Find the page's content file and use the named block it reads (check the route in src/pages/[...lang]/ and sectionsSchema in src/sections.schema.ts). Only add the keys that change. Do English and French. ``` ### Content **Write pricing plans** ```text Update the pricingSection block in src/content/pricing/english/-index.md to these plans: [NAME, MONTHLY PRICE, YEARLY PRICE, 4-5 FEATURES for each]. Keep the structure of each plan (price.monthly, price.yearly, features.monthly, features.yearly, button). Give [PLAN] the badge "Most Popular". Then do the French file. ``` **Write the FAQ** ```text Replace the questions in src/content/sections/english/faq-centered.md with 6 questions a client of my firm would ask, with short, direct answers. Keep the file's structure and keys. Then translate them into src/content/sections/french/faq-centered.md. ``` **Replace the services** ```text My firm offers these services: [LIST]. The service pages are the solution files in src/content/solutions/english/ (not -index.md). Rewrite the first [N] for my services (title, description, and any detail block they set, such as overviewSection), keep every key and image path, and set draft: true on the ones I don't need. Use matching file names in french/ and translate. ``` **Add a person, role, case study, or post** ```text Add a [person | job opening | case study | blog post | portfolio project] to src/content/[people | careers | case-study-page | blog | portfolio]/english/ for: [DETAILS]. Copy the frontmatter of an existing entry in that folder, keep the same keys, and fill in my details. Use a lowercase file name with hyphens. Add the French version with the same file name. ``` ### Navigation And Pages **Clean up the menus** ```text In src/config/menu.en.json and menu.fr.json, trim the "Home" and "Who we are" menus to the pages I keep: [LIST]. Point the "Practice area" and "Resources" mega menu links at my real pages, set "enable": false on links to pages I removed, and keep the JSON structure. Also update the link columns in src/content/sections/*/footer-newsletter-grid.md. ``` **Remove pages I don't need** ```text I don't need these pages: [LIST, for example /landing/home/, /solutions/style-02/, /components/]. For each one, delete its route in src/pages/[...lang]/ and its content in src/content/, then remove every link to it from the menu files, footer-newsletter-grid.md, and content files (search for the URL). Run npm run astro-check and fix anything it reports. ``` ### Languages **Use English only** ```text I only need English. Set [settings.multilingual] enable = false in src/config/config.toml. Don't delete any files. Tell me what will happen if I later run npm run remove-multilingual. ``` **Replace French with another language** ```text Replace French with [LANGUAGE] ([CODE]). In src/config/language.json change the French entry (languageName, languageCode, ogLocale, contentDir "[folder]"). Rename every src/content/**/french/ folder to [folder], rename src/i18n/fr.json and src/config/menu.fr.json to [CODE].json and menu.[CODE].json, and update the "/fr/*" redirect in netlify.toml. Translate every text value and keep all keys. Don't use npm run generate-multilingual-content. ``` ### Forms And Launch **Connect the forms** ```text Connect the contact forms to [Formspree with form ID xxxx | formsubmit.co with [EMAIL] | Netlify Forms]: set contactFormAction and contactFormProvider in src/config/config.toml. Set [settings.subscription] formAction to my Mailchimp URL [URL] (replace every & with &). Then remove or update any "not connected yet" note near the forms. Don't change the form fields. ``` **Write SEO descriptions** ```text For every page file in src/content/*/english/-index.md and src/content/pages/english/, write a metaDescription of 140-160 characters for my firm, based on the page content. Only add or change metaDescription. Then do the French files. ``` ### Fix Problems **Explain and fix an error** ```text npm run [dev | build | astro-check] fails with this error: [PASTE THE FULL ERROR] Explain the cause in one sentence, then fix it with the smallest change. Don't change unrelated files. ``` **A change doesn't show up** ```text I changed [WHAT] in [FILE] but the page [URL] still shows the old version. Find where that page gets this text: check its route in src/pages/[...lang]/, the named blocks in its content file, and the section file in src/content/sections/english/. Tell me which file wins and why. ```
