Common Changes

Quick recipes for the changes people ask about most. Each one names the file and the lines.

Replace All Demo Contact Details

The theme ships with sample phone numbers, emails, and addresses. Replace them in:

config.toml: [settings.contactInfo], [settings.headerTopBar] (email, phone), and [settings.officeDropdown]
src/content/sections/english/home-header.md: address and hours
src/content/contact/english/-index.md: contactInfo and the office locations
src/content/sections/english/contact-image-form.md: contactInformation
src/content/pages/english/privacy-policy.md and terms-conditions.md: the legalPage.contact box
src/content/people/english/*.md: phone and email on each profile

Then search the project for example.com and +44-800 to catch the rest. Do the same in the french/ files. PUBLIC-VALUES-NEEDED.md lists every demo value the theme knows about.

Hide A Section

Everywhere: enable: false at the top of src/content/sections/english/<section>.md.
On one page: add its block to the page file with enable: false, for example newsletterSection: with enable: false under it. Sections lists the blocks each page reads. For a section a page doesn’t read a block for, remove its line from the route file instead.

Reorder A Page(light code)

Open the page’s route in src/pages/[...lang]/ and move the section lines inside <Base>. Top to bottom in the file is top to bottom on the page.

Edit the slides in src/content/sections/english/banner-slider.md: tag, title, shortInfo, features, bgImage, and bgImageAlt per slide. Add or remove a slide by copying or deleting a whole - tag: item. autoplayDelay sets the time between slides in milliseconds.

Update The Copyright Year

Edit footer.copyright in src/i18n/en.json and fr.json. The year is plain text, so change it each year, or set [settings.copyright] text in config.toml on a one-language site.

Change The Number Of Blog Posts Per Page(light code)

The three blog list designs set their page size in their route files: pageSize={10} in src/pages/[...lang]/blog/index.astro and standard.astro, pageSize={6} in style-01.astro, and pageSize={4} in style-02.astro. pagination under [settings] in config.toml sets the size of the numbered pages (/blog/page/2/).

Remove The One-Page Homepages

Delete src/pages/[...lang]/landing/ and remove the One Page group from the Home menu in src/config/menu.en.json and menu.fr.json.

Change its url. Write site paths in English form (/contact/); the French prefix is added for you. A full https:// address opens in a new tab.

Change The Company Desk File

Replace public/company-desk.pdf, or point companyDesk under [settings] in config.toml at another file or page.

Change The 404 Page

Edit notFound in src/i18n/en.json and fr.json: the title, the text, and the button label.

Hide A Page Without Deleting It

Add draft: true to its frontmatter. It stays visible in npm run dev so you can keep working on it.

Change Wording That Isn’t In Any Content File

Labels such as “Read more”, form messages, slider buttons, and the people search texts live in src/i18n/en.json and fr.json. Search those files for the word you see.
