Which Footer Each Page Uses
Like the header, the footer is chosen by each route:
| Footer | Used on | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | Inner pages and the tax and accounting homepage | Description, phone and contact details, link columns, Company Desk link, legal links, social icons, copyright |
| Office | Corporate consulting homepage | Logo, newsletter form, social icons, head office address and phone, link columns, legal links, copyright |
| Homepage | Main homepage (/) | Newsletter form, logo, social icons, office details, link columns, bottom links, copyright |
Footer Text
The standard and office footers read footer in src/i18n/en.json (and fr.json):
"footer": { "description": "We help businesses make smarter decisions, control risk, and drive sustainable growth.", "companyDesk": "Company Desk", "headOffice": "Head Office", "copyright": "Copyright © 2026 Consultiz | All rights reserved."}- The copyright is plain text: change the firm name and the year yourself.
[settings.copyright] enable = falseinconfig.tomlhides it in every footer. - For a one-language site you can set the text in
config.tomlinstead:footerDescriptionunder[settings], andtextunder[settings.copyright]. - The Company Desk link opens the file in
companyDeskunder[settings]("/company-desk.pdf", a file inpublic/). Replace the PDF, point it at a page, or delete the link text in the i18n files.
Contact Details And Links
| Part | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Address, phone, email, hours | [settings.contactInfo] in config.toml (demo values ship there) |
| Link columns | footer in src/config/menu.en.json. See Menus |
| Legal links | footerLegal in the menu files |
| Social icons | The enabled entries in src/config/social.json |
| Newsletter form | [settings.subscription] in config.toml. See Forms |
The Homepage Footer
The main homepage has its own footer with all its text in src/content/sections/english/footer-newsletter-grid.md (and french/):
description: "We help businesses make smarter decisions, control risk, and drive sustainable growth."newsletterTitle: "Newsletter"newsletterHeading: "Consulting insights, straight to your inbox."newsletterNote: "Stay informed with our latest consulting insights and business updates."officeTitle: "Office"columns: - title: "About" links: - { label: "Who we are?", url: "/company/" } - { label: "Contact", url: "/contact/" }bottomLinks: - { label: "Privacy policy", url: "/privacy-policy/" }Its link columns are separate from the menu files, so update both when you change your footer links. Its newsletter form, copyright, office details, and social icons follow the same settings as the other footers.
Social Links
src/config/social.json lists your profiles. They all ship with "enable": false. Turn on the ones you use and set their url:
{ "main": [ { "enable": true, "label": "Linkedin", "icon": "/images/icons/linkedin.svg", "url": "https://www.linkedin.com/company/your-firm" } ]}The enabled links also appear in the header top bar, the contact drawer, and the structured data that describes your organization (sameAs).
The Awards Strip
Some pages end with a strip above the footer: a title, award badges, and social links. Its content is src/content/sections/english/footer-awards.md:
enable: false # off by default; pages opt intitle: "Strategies that power growth solutions built for long-term success."socials: # demo links: replace with your own accounts - label: "LinkedIn" icon: "Linkedin" url: "https://www.linkedin.com/"awards: - image: "/images/reference-home/footer-award-img1.png" alt: "Top Consultant Awards 2025"It is off by default. A page shows it with footerAwardSection: { enable: true } in its content file; the main and corporate consulting homepages do this. Pages that can show it are listed in Sections. The award badges are demo content: only show awards your firm has won.
